Canon T100 vs T7 – Check Which One Is Best & Why?
Canon T100 & T7 both were released in Feb 2018. Both are good quality cameras with some similar features, but if you are looking for the best one I would recommend Canon T7 rather than the Canon t100.
Why Do I recommend Canon T7?
- Canon T7 has 24.10 megapixels APS-C sensor, whereas T100 has 18.0 megapixels APS-C sensor. A better megapixel camera helps to capture images and videos in higher Resolution with more details.
- For Image shooting, Both camera ISO Range is 100 to 6400, Extendable up to 12,800, But With Canon t7, You can record Video in low light. Its Video recording ISO is 100 to 6400, which is not available in Canon t100 you can’t shoot video in low light.
- T7 has Live view() option, whereas T100 Doesn’t. This option allows you to see some shoots before and after you press the shutter button to select the perfect picture. Some people call it shooting while viewing a real-time image. You took a picture and saw everything is perfect but the eye is closed. If you are using live view option, you can see when the eye was open.
- Canon t7 has 920k dots higher screen resolution that helps to display more detailed visual information than the t100. Canon T100 has only 230k dots screen resolution.
- It offers an Aspect Ratio of 1:1, 3:2, 4:3, and 16:9, which helps to capture images in different frame sizes. The aspect ratio of 16:9 gives you the freedom to capture the whole frame image, but Canon t100 allows you only 3:2 Aspect Ratio. You can not take a bigger frame shoot than 3:2.
- T7 has a large LCD screen of 3 inches that helps to record video and capture amazing photos. In contrast, Canon T100’s screen size is 2.7 inches.
- Both can record video [1920 x 1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps and 1280 x 720 (HD) at 60 fps], but because of 24.1 Megapixels sensor, the Canon t7 can record more Clear and detailed video than Canon t100.
Maybe the Canon t100 price can make you comfortable because it’s little bit cheaper than Mark III. But you have to compromise all the above-mentioned features, which is not a good idea. After all, the choice is yours.
